I don't expect many people — aside from designers — to understand the constant need to update their personal website. But if that website happens to be the gateway to your lively-hood, income, contacts and social-media platform... it's an exponentially bigger ordeal.

It has to be perfect. No, really... it does. The flow, the feel, the images, the copy... it all makes designers go crazy.

"What do I show in my portfolio?"
"Is that good enough?"
"Will this leave a good impression?"

If you are as OCD as I am and a designer — then you know the struggle is real. However, the solution is easier than most designers care to point out: trust in yourself. It's taken years for me to allow myself the ability to trust that I am where I am because of who I am. Trust in yourself people. Trust your instincts. Trust your mistakes.

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

Without further ado, I present the new and improved mulderINK design.
